3-4 Ideas for Filming Opening Title Sequence.

Film Opening:


Idea 1: For my film opening title sequence, I want to make it as eery and to keep the audience wondering what the film is mostly about. I would like the opening to focus on a character but not actually show the characters appearence to make the opening more interesting and keeping the eyes and focus of the audience wondering what is going to happen in the actual film and what kind of character this mysterious person is going to turn out like.


I am thinking to make my film opening a horror film as that will give me good ideas to make the character more mysterious and make the audience more eager to watch the next part of the opening.
I can put sound effects onto the opening to make it more spooky and scary, and also keep the colours quite dark which also makes it more scary. 


I will film the opening in different areas such as at school and also outside of the school premises to change the areas in which will make my film opening look better.


Idea 2: My second idea is going to be about two girls moving into a new house, and are very excited. Before they moved they were out for the night and had told what they thought had been a genuine person they were moving and the road, throughout conversation they tell him where they are moving to and he can then come round to their new house and bring a few friends.  When the boys come round, the girls do not know that they are planning to kidnap them and take them away. 


I'm going to name the film 'kidnap' and I will use different actors to show who plays what part. I will use close ups to show the emotions of the characters. Also I will use shots such as medium shots etc. to show the planning of the kidnap and also the two girls talking about their new home.


Idea 3: My third idea is about a girl who is severely bullied at school and her self esteem is very low. The bullying then becomes unbearable for her and she ends up killing herself. The bullies then experience weird paranormal things happening to them which scare them. It is the girl that killed herself coming back to haunt them and she ends up killing them in a scary way, one by one.


The camera shots I will use will be close ups of the bullies faces when the girl comes back to haunt them, also weird shots, but without the girl actually being in the camera, but shots to show the audience that her spirit is still on screen.


Videos that inspired me for the choices of what I'm going to do was the film Chainsaw Texas Massacre My first idea as it does not show the character fully it first. He is shown in parts to keep the audience interested. For idea 2 the film 'Taken' had an idea in my head as it is about two girls that get kidnapped by men.
My third idea was based on a bit of the film 'Paranormal Activity' and other horror films.
